It really is time to start putting pictures in my blogs. I love looking at the pictures Crystal includes in hers.
Well, we did it. We had a realtor come look at the house and give us a ball park number. When she gave it to us it was a hundred thousand more than we thought we might get. I thought Paul's head was going to explode, it was pretty funny when she threw that number out there.
Which certainly mixed things up a bit, like I was trying to do anyway.
So Thanksgiving morning we stopped at the local Dunkin Donuts to get a couple cups of coffee to bring with us while driving around looking at some multifamily listings. We found one listing we are going to pursue. With the purchase of this particular property we would have the same mortgage, but the three rentals would pay it. We'd live in the single unit home above a two car garage on the same lot, for FREE.
This weekend I've got a lot to do...
I may try to finish my last 4 weeks of lectures, freeing up my weekends through the end of the year - my next course starts the beginning of the year. That should take about 12 hours. I've got cleaning to do to put this place in showing condition. "MELANIE - I NEED YOU!".
Between the holidays and all that selling and buying homes entail...I will be wise to get school off my plate if I can.
Well, I'm sort of excited. It will certainly be a different lifestyle...and in three years when I get antsy again...well, it might just be time to get another house.
Why Oh Why can't I just be still?????????
