Baby carrots, peppers, snap peas, grapes, apples, nuts. Maybe some soup. Tomato and cottage cheese. V-8 juice, pineapple juice. For lunch and snacking. Every day.
Fish. Veggie burgers. Chicken. Mixed grains. Squash or asparagus. For supper. Every day.
No cheese. No red meat. No coffee with cream. A more active lifestyle - not sitting behind a desk for 8 hours @ day.
More than three months now.
No change in my bad cholesterol. NO CHANGE!
Dammit.
I did lose weight, though. And I do feel good - more energy.
But it looks like I'm going to have to take the pills, too. Every day.
That just sucks.

that's rough.. all that work and no change.
at least you feel better and are getting healthy though. your body thanks you. the cholesterol thing will work itself out.
Keep on keepin' on Sister...maybe your body is moving slower than you want...but losing weight and feeling better will surely over time change things? Cholesterol wise? If not, pretend it is a power pill that brings wisdom and grace. I do that with some of mine-the ones I really hate taking!
