It's been awhile since the last one, and I'm dismayed to find that the jigsaw puzzle world has dropped it's quality control standards. We've got a dud on our hands. I'm just sure of it.
Paul did a healthy portion of it this afternoon - the easy parts. You know, the house with the words and lines, simple stuff to match up. I was working on the ducks in the sky - lots of sky, lots of blue, lots of pieces that look the same. Way harder than Paul's. (hehehehe).
There are extra pieces. I swear. I am so done with this puzzle.
Supporting Sean's recovery process has been seriously challenging. If I hear "I can't" one more time, he's going to be recovering from other things. We can't seem to talk to each other on any level, without anger, and the expression of that anger, creeping into the dialogue. The puzzle was supposed to help me. Now I want to toss the puzzle out the window along with the other frustration of my life right now. Jeez.
In the middle, where the pieces meet, there is an extra one. The top pieces, which are underneath, make a perfect duck according to the picture. But so do the ones below it, and they don't meet correctly, as they should. WTF.
So. What do I do now? I know. I'm going to read. Just curl up in my pajamas and maybe finish my book.
Peace, and may your year end with serenity and begin again with hope.

eww-sorry it isn't going to well.
Defective products are incredibly frustrating, but there is no one fully to blame. The person working in the factory didn't mean to screw up the puzzle. It could be said that they should have been paying closer attention, but human error is inevitable............
Looking forward to that beginning again for all of you.
With full support and lots of love,

honey I was just griping. the puzzle was fine and i knew it, i just hosed up somewhere, but it was a pretty good hosing, if i do say so myself.
the eng fixed it.
I actually like this puzzle. The pieces are cut to where they almost fit in the wrong location. Had to take some areas apart and rebuild them. Needed some sort of a challange after doing all the "easy" stuff.
i do not like jigsaw puzzles one bit.
at all, not an ounce. I'd rather saw off my arm. I hope yours spontaneously combusted.
