A little hard to read. It's a little hard to type with both sets of fingers on both hands crossed.
We had some warranty work to do in Maine. Just some stupid sinks falling off the walls.
Jeez.
So here I am, in Maine, on Tuesday. I headed up early enough from CT to come rolling in by 8:00 o'clock in the morning. The bank inspection is tomorrow, so I planned to spend the day and night here, do the bank inspection tomorrow morning and head back home;
TO PACK FOR MY TRIP TO TENNESSEE ON THURSDAY.
Has anyone (besides Foo) been tracking the weather???
Tonight, whilst I lay dreaming, the snow will start. It is supposed to last all day tomorrow, and be quite some winter weather. Quote from the weather bug "cooler weather aloft. ground temperature will be warmer, causing freezing rain". or vice versa - maybe that wasn't an exact quote...
What on earth will I be driving in tomorrow? The prediction is for up to 14 inches of snow. I don't mind driving in the snow so much. The four wheel drive is pretty good. But ice is another story.
I made a 'just in case' reservation for tomorrow night.
I want to be home tomorrow. I don't want to drive home Thursday, unpack, then repack and head out to the airport. Tomorrow at 2:45 pm I need to get online so I can check in for my flight. I have obsessive compulsive things I have to do before I go. These things can't be rushed.
Oh well. We'll see what happens. I can handle anything so long as the flight leaves on time, and I make the connection in Dulles. Which, by the way, I didn't even realize I had until Foo pointed out to me that, um, I gave her the wrong arrival time. Good thing I sent someone smart my itinerary.
Since I uncrossed my fingers briefly to explain my excitement and worry, I am now afraid I have doomed the whole thing. Foo, could you please have some nice wine ready? I think I may need it. That and half & half for coffee. Thats it. I can't wait to try your pumpkin lasagna, I'm so glad you are making it.
All righty then. Just a quick mention that I don't know how I managed to get online tonight - I'd pretty much gave up hope of ever using this computer (work laptop) to get online at the hotel anymore. Even with a connection, Microsoft kept shutting my window down. Damn if I could figure that one out. But I perservered this time, and kept trying to go to pages that it would accept without shutting down the browser, and finally found one. May not work again, though. It is a longer story than what I am sharing right now, but I am really concerned right now, my fingers all uncrossed and stuff. So I'll just wish everyone the best and lots of...
...Peace

Pumpkin Lasagna?!?!?!?!?!
Please...do a post on this culinary adventure, preferably before the wine wears off just to make it more interesting.
