Ha. I'm blogging. So there.
Yesterday I thought about putting the snow shovels away. Sure enough - snow squalls. Just to be on the safe side, I think they are going to stay on the front porch until June.
My last blog talked about how the year (2010) was shaping up to be a doozy. I didn't read the whole thing - but chuckled to myself. Now that I can look back on the entire year, all I can say is wow. It was a year out of a John Irving story for sure. Although I don't think even he could make that shit up. The best time was the week Paul & I spent in New Orleans, however sad it was to see the losses caused by Katrina.
And the other best thing was Gabe's visit. Oh, and up there at the top of best things is when my beloved Heather came through for me in one of my worst times. Like the weather these days 2010, in retrospect, seems full of extremes.
Maybe in another blog I'll list the events of my 2010. Not today though. Today I'm focused on the passing of two stones in my left ureter. On the couch, feeling sorry for myself. Stupid kidney stones.
Tomorrow Sean has court, so I'm not anticipating much in the way of a good day. At this point I simply hope it won't snow.
Onward.
I love you.
