Forty Seven Point Nine

47.9 MPGs. Almost 48. This week I'm sure I will gain that extra one tenth of a mile per gallon.

When you drive AT LEAST 62 miles, five days a week, and you live miles and miles away from stores/doctors/friends/family, and gas is $4.25 a gallon, that's big stuff. Downside - because I don't go to the pump very often, every time I do I get sticker shock - the price having increased in my absence an average of 15 cents a gallon. Ouch.

This is the Civic Hybrid, parked next to my work truck.

The coming week's weather report: (as of today)

Nice, effing nice. Maybe a storm midweek, but by Friday, temperatures rising. Saturday is predicted to be high 80's. Keep dancing. Good work, X.

The lake has some leaves on the bottom, which is kinda gross when you step in it, so if you have aqua shoes, or canvas Keds or something, it is a good idea to bring if you plan to play in the water.
