Do you ever get one of those teeny weeny facial tics? It feels like my whole eye is blinking away, but I look in the mirror and can't see what I am feeling. What is that?
Yesterday while I was driving I saw something terrible.
Driving along and up ahead, to the left a little corgi puppy, probably about 4-5 months old frollicked into the road, happily wagging it's little tail and bouncing along, looked up just in time to see the minivan coming down the road, towards me. It was the last thing that little guy saw, as the minivan slammed into his little body. It happened in an instant, while I watched. The van kept driving, and left the poor puppy's body split open and spinning on the road.
As I drove by, to my left I saw a long driveway, and a little girl, about 10 years old. She was walking back towards the house, holding something and looking at it, like mail. I think she went to check the mail, and took her little puppy with her, turned around to walk back to the house, assuming the puppy was right behind her. But he wasn't. Her back was turned away from the tragedy that had just unfolded. And any minute she was going to realize he wasn't at her feet, going after her shoelaces. Any minute she was going to turn around to see where he was.
Not a mile down the road, my eye started twitching. Its still twitching today. "is this the price for having learned how not to cry" Jackson Brown

Oh, that is really terrible. Go ahead and cry...
Oh Fuckin' A, that sucks a lot Elf. I am so sorry-yep cry and the twitch will be gone, pretty sure of it. That sucks a lot-and that little girl will never forget it. Plus, ahole driver as it is the law to stop if you hit a dog-but not a cat which has always pissed me off. I say hit any domestic animal and do the right thing.
PT
why do things like that happen? I'm so horrified by drivers. Especially ones who don't stop to check on the carnage they just created.
