Just a quickie to say "hi" to everyone. Been missing this little technical round table we enjoy, but haven't had much to offer. Please forgive.
The other day Paul and I were driving down Route 395. It is a habit to examine the contrails in the sky, to make sure nothiing unusual is going on up over my head. Bit of a paranoia of mine. There just seems to be so many these days, and you hear all the reports of over tired and stressed air traffic controllers. Anyway, when I looked up during this particular drive, there was the typical contrail, at a typical hight, (not lower or higher than a normal commercial jet), and looked just like the typical commercial plane. It was doing a U-turn. No lie. The trail distinctly headed in one direction, and turned around to head back the way it came. Paul & I spent some minutes speculating on that one...."Oh shit, I forgot my keys, we have to go back".
I found a brand new bra in my drawer that I didn't know was there. I must have purchased it and forgot about it. That is like finding a $10 bill in your winter coat when you first put it on for the season.
Last year X & Mel brought me a lovely rhododendrun bush for mother's day. I have been working on a hedge of rhodies, but didn't want to plant this special one in the hedge with the commoners. So I found a holding spot for it until I know for sure where it will live out it's life. It didn't bloom early this summer with all the rest of the rhodies. After all, it's a special one. It's so special that I noticed a bloom on it a few days ago. Just a few petals opening on one branch. This is very weird, because the rhodies have passed blossoming time, couple months now, and are now into growing another layer of foliage for next year. Well, I've never seen that before, but, after all, it is special.
Enjoy the day, my friends. Hoping things go your way, and if they don't, well, I hope the lessons learned aren't too hard. I've got some reading to do to catch up. Haven't been on this site most the summer.

Things ain goin ma' way of late-but with the spirits n health gettin betta...I can manage. Moment by moment sometimes. But since there is "only us and only this" right this sec I be fine. The quotes indicate that line is stolen from lyrics in the show Rent. Loved it. Saw it in NYC x3, and would go again in a heartbeat.
